Week 5 During week 5 I had my presentation and received my test results. Well the preparation for the presentation went well as there was a holiday and we used the holiday to prepare. That meant 1 day of class only for this week. The morning of the presentation we had a set back with an online video which we had tried to integrate into our presentation. We couldn't download the video off the Google website and was forced to try to steam and then use an archive for the video to be clear. The morning of class to our surprise there was no internet connection in the classroom and thus our video presentation was dashed. We were able to pull off a good presentation none the less getting 13 out of 15 % to go to our final mark. Hmmm I wonder what would have happened had we shown the video. Well no use crying over spilt milk. The test results from the week before proved me right and I was barely able to make half mark. Whew I hate just scraping by when I know I could have done better and I felt like I had over prepared because I knew the work. The test format just killed me. Oh well the end of another week. Time seems to be flying fast just eight more weeks and the term will be over. Hmmm so I wonder what the others are thinking. Week 6 Whey 2 more weeks to mid term exams and I've started revising a little I'm nearly finished with 1 assignment due at the end of the month and awaiting some feedback to know my progress from the lecturer. It's interesting to think that the lecturers are there to assist but we fail to use them. Well some are more accommodating those others so I can understand why we sometimes complain about teachers and their methods. My Tuesday class seem to be going ok as I'm on target with most of my reading assignments for these classes. My only issue appears to be what the exam format is going to be for Midterm exams. I have 2 exams and a class presentation on 1 day and the reality of this hits me like a ton of bricks. Well I'll hopefully survive and do well but I need to do the stuff now. My only other day of school for the week was a bit stressful oh the joy of class from 9 am – 8pm – Happy, Happy…joy, joy anyways so next week is a holiday. In between thinking of World Cup England vs. Trinidad and having group meeting and studying to do, I think my weekend will be lots of fun. NOT |
