Well in the last few days of the year….today I was bored out of my ears. Spent the entire day just existing in space, woke up late. Watched TV ate and played music all day. My friend had the beginnings of the flu and slept all day. Everyone else was in the house all day except her cousin who had volunteer hours to do and her uncle who went to work. Her aunt went out for
a bit with her mom. And I lazed around all day. Talk about bored. Yes I was!!

Very anti-climactic since the previous three day s was very hectic. On Monday we went down to her dad's house, scoped out the Ice Skating Rink. We hung out ate at her dad's favourite location Pollo Tropical and hung out at this bar & restaurant, and shoot some pool. Well I am kinda getting better.
Then went to another Jamaican style Tavern, where they had a Customer Appreciation day, which meant free food. JA food of course, rice and peas and curried chicken with some salad! Something I had to eat many days in a row while in JA…that was what the cafeteria cooked everyday. We played some
darts and I won! ? Yea!! Then we hit the road again. Where to? The Hard Rock Café! T'was a big village like atmosphere, with bars, casinos, restaurants and club! Walked around and chilled for a while. Everyone tried to get me to ride the mechanical bull…lol!! Maybe at a different venue, but not in the middle of the bar with everyone watching, so when the guy came to get me I managed to wiggle my way out and hand over my friend. Lol! So she rode the bull. Told her I would go after to get her on. She had a bit of a ride then got her first fall. The guy gave her another ride, and she was on a bit longer then had her second fall and a head butt from the bull. Lol! Her wrist got a bit swollen after from holding on for dear life.

Next day she awoke to body pains, inner thigh pains from using legs to stay on the bull. Boy was I glad I was not on the bull. We got up early and took to the ice. Ice Skating for about 2 hours! My first step on the ice was slippery, I grabbed the edges. It was my second time on the ice and my friends first time. After a while we were into it. There were a bunch of
tiny tots whizzing by and some grown peeps. We had a great time. Fingers were about to drop off…freezing. This lady at the rink ended up giving us socks to wear on our hands. T'was funny when she came with the socks, she said "who buys gloves in Florida?" Guess what? I do! I just don't have them.

Anyway after the rink, we went to the largest mall in Florida I think. The food court was in a frenzy, it was as if everyone wanted to eat at the same time. People were walking around combing the area, waiting while you ate for the table. I grabbed us a table. Then I got a chair that we had to share. I don't think my friend was competitive enough to go get a chair. I had to
urge her on. Met up with my other friend and we were walking about for about 8 hours. Had some JA rice and peas and curry again for dinner!!


Well the next day was a step down. Pollo Tropical and another mall! Time flew by and we met the peeps to head back to the country. Where my boredom began! Guess what! Had some rice and peas and backed chicken for dinner! Well at least Thursday night dinner was Chinese and then some also had some carrot cake. So alas I survived the day and wait for tomorrow.
